Best Practices for Navigating a Challenging Insurance Marketplace

Wednesday, December 3 | 1:50 PM - 2:10 PM

Social and human services organizations across the country are facing a challenging insurance landscape. Rising premiums, reduced liability limits, and a shrinking pool of insurers offering competitive terms are common issues affecting many providers. In this session, we’ll explore practical strategies to help your organization navigate these challenges and position itself for the best possible insurance outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify what the challenge is.
  • How to best position your organization for the insurance marketplace.
  • Exploring what the future in the insurance marketplace looks like in the coming years.

About the Presenter

Jonathan Trapp, ARM, CIC, has spent his entire 35-year career as an insurance and risk management professional working solely with not-for-profit organizations (Social and Human Service Organizations), and helping them effectively manage their risk management programs.  Jon forms close relationships with his clients to fully understand their operations and their specific risk management needs. It’s these close relationships that allow him to get integrally involved with each client to develop the best insurance and risk management program possible. Jon prides himself on being a “go to person” for difficult insurance coverage matters and works closely with his clients to design an insurance and risk management program that is both competitive, comprehensive, and administratively friendly. His clients view him as a trusted advisor and integral part of their day-to-day team.
