PRESENTATION

Stronger Individuals, Stronger Teams: Building the Resilient Workforce in Behavioral Health

Wednesday, December 3 | 4:00 PM - 5:15 PM

When building a house, you need strong pillars to support the foundation. Regardless of position, title held, or education level, your staff are the pillars of your organization and your ability to support them will determine the success with which they live out your mission. Within our organization at Chaddock, we have made it our priority to ensure that staff are seen, heard and valued for their skills, expertise and differences, not just during times of challenge, but all the time. Using a mix of traditional lecture, buzz groups, and individual reflections, attendees will explore how relational factors such as trust, communication and support, organizational factors such as HR initiatives and policies, and individual factors such as knowledge, awareness and regulation can interact and contribute to overall resilience and adaptability of the workforce.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe how trust, communication, and support can help build a resilient workforce.
  • Describe two organizational factors that can contribute to workforce satisfaction.
  • Explain how knowledge, awareness, and regulation can help a workforce become more adaptable.
