Call for Proposals
The National Association for Children's Behavioral Health (NACBH) invites thought leaders, innovators, and changemakers to submit presentation proposals for the 2026 Emerging Best Practices Conference.
This year's conference theme, Cultivating Hope: Innovative Leadership for Stronger Systems and Brighter Futures, will explore how behavioral health leaders can drive meaningful change, strengthen systems of care, and create brighter futures for children, youth, and families.
We are seeking dynamic speakers and engaging presentations that offer practical insights, innovative approaches, and actionable strategies for attendees.
Priority Topics
NACBH is particularly interested in proposals that address the following topics:
- Leading Through Uncertainty: Building Hope-Based Organizational Cultures in Behavioral Health
- From Burnout to Belonging: Innovative Workforce Strategies That Restore Purpose and Retain Talent
- Data With Meaning: Using Outcomes and Stories to Drive Hope-Filled Systems Change
- Innovation in Care Delivery: Designing Flexible, Community-Driven Behavioral Health Health That Improve Outcomes for Children and Families
- Leadership for the Future: Developing the Next Generation of Visionary Behavioral Health Leaders
- Technology, AI, and Digital Innovation: Transforming Behavioral Health Responsibly
- Policy, Advocacy, and Systems Change: Leading Through a Time of Transformation
- Youth and Family Voice: Co-Creating Better Systems
Session Guidelines
- Sessions may be presented in either a 45-minute or 90-minute format.
- 90-minute sessions must include an interactive activity to encourage participant engagement.
- NACBH values presentations that are interactive, thought-provoking, and provide fresh ideas, innovative practices, and practical solutions.
- All proposals will undergo a comprehensive review and evaluation process conducted by the Program Committee.
- Selected speakers will be required to comply with the NACBH Speaker Policies.
Submission Deadline
Proposal submissions are due by Friday, July 17, 2026.
